Cattle running, horses hopping around, people excited about enjoying the fun. The 102nd annual rodeo is underway. Fireworks go off for two nights. People enjoy the excitement and different colors given off by the fireworks. Firework patterns created are interesting and often mean something different to various lookers.
The rodeo here is old. Few people reach the age of 102 years. What must have they seen and experienced. Few have reached such an advanced age. Time changes, new inventories come into our lives, new ideas are considered and life continues.
Traffic in our area increases when we have the annual rodeo. Thousands of tourists keep our service industries busy before, during and after the rodeo. It appears thousands of people come for the various activities. Our parade usually has 10,000 to 15,000 visitors. Saturday brings people for the parade and to visit in our town. Visitors come from this state and from areas across the USA. Amazing to consider when our small town only has a population of about 6.000.
The rodeo requires participants to have a license, and is a PRCA sanctioned event. Participants from all over the US take part in the rodeo. Winners collect points for their events. They compete in other sanctioned rodeo activities and someone will eventually become a national champion.
Internet innovations have brought many positive things to us. We can find websites which bring encouragement and positive thoughts to us. We can get answers to most of our questions and we might get some needs from the internet. Finding help from basic to more complex needs is all available from the internet. Caution is advised as information we receive is not always properly researched and does not give good or truthful information.
I use the internet, as an author, to do research. I use well known sites which gives knowledgeable and helpful information. When not positive about what I learn, I seldom, if ever, use what is said. Readers expect accurate information.
